Ingredients
  

For the Base

  • 3 cups frozen mango Can be substituted with other frozen fruits such as pineapple or peach.
  • 1/2 cup canned full fat coconut milk Light coconut milk can be used, but it may alter creaminess.
  • 1 large lime (juiced and zested) Adds brightness to the sorbet.

For Sweetening and Flavor

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup Can be replaced with agave nectar or honey.
  • 1-2 tsp chili lime seasoning Adjust to taste.

To Serve

  • Optional toppings: coconut flakes and extra chili lime seasoning Enhance texture and flavor.

Preparation

  • Gather all the ingredients before starting to ensure a smooth process.
  • Add the frozen mango, coconut milk, lime juice and zest, maple syrup, and chili lime seasoning to a high-speed blender or food processor.
  • Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides if necessary.
  • Pour the smooth sorbet mixture into a loaf pan and spread it into an even layer.
  • Cover with foil and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
  • Once frozen, scoop into serving bowls and garnish with coconut flakes and additional chili lime seasoning.

Notes

Allow sorbet to sit out for a few minutes before scooping. Store leftover sorbet in an airtight container to prevent freezer burn.
