Chicken with Buttered Noodles

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cooking Noodles

  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking Chicken

  • In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Cook in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.

Preparing Sauce and Noodles

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the skillet. Toss them in the buttery garlic sauce.

Serving

  • Slice the chicken and serve it over the buttered noodles. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Let the dish cool before storing. It can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop.
