For the Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half or coconut cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth Use low-sodium for a healthier option
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

  • Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add heavy cream, chicken broth, and garlic powder. Stir until combined.
  • Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.

Combining and Serving

  • Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it generously with the sauce.
  • Cook for another minute to heat through.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
