  • 4 slices ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese

Breading and Seasoning

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place each chicken breast between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound until about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each chicken breast.
  • Roll up each chicken breast tightly and secure with toothpicks.

Breading and Cooking

  • Dredge each roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken rolls until golden brown on all sides.
  • Transfer to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until fully cooked.
  • Remove toothpicks before serving.
