  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced Use ripe but firm avocado.
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps Warm for a few seconds to make rolling easier.
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved Drain juices to avoid soggy wraps.
  • 1/4 cup red onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional) Optional for added richness.
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (optional) Adds brightness to the flavor.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sliced avocado, and optional olive oil and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Lay out the tortillas or wraps on a flat surface.
  • Distribute the chicken and avocado mixture evenly among the tortillas.
  • Add shredded lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and red onion on top.
  • Roll the wraps tightly, tucking in the sides as you go.
  • Slice in half and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with a side of fresh fruit, a small salad, or kettle chips. For sauces, serve with yogurt dip, ranch, or a squeeze of extra lime. Wrap tightly for storage in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
