  • 24 oz Frozen Cut Green Beans (Thawed)
  • 10.5 oz Condensed Cheddar Soup
  • 1/2 cup Milk (Regular or non-dairy)
  • 1 tbsp Dehydrated Minced Onion
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Alternative: Monterey Jack or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese (Alternative: Pecorino Romano)
  • 1 package Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix (Or regular biscuit mix)
  • 1/4 cup Butter (Melted, or olive oil as substitute)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the thawed green beans, condensed cheddar soup, milk, dehydrated minced onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and half of the shredded Parmesan cheese into the green bean mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In another bowl, prepare the biscuit mix according to package instructions, adding the melted butter (or olive oil) as needed.
  • Spread the biscuit mixture evenly over the green bean mixture in the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top of the biscuits.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or carrots. For a spicy kick, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes or jalapeños. You can double the recipe for larger gatherings. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
