Ingredients

For the Base

  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled Brewed using your preferred method.

For the Cream

  • 1/4 cup milk (or cream) Use whole milk for lower calories or cream for a richer drink.

For the Sweetness

  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce Store-bought or reduced-sugar options can be used.

To Serve

  • Ice cubes Optional: Whipped cream for topping.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Brew 1 cup of coffee using your preferred method (drip, pour-over, or French press). Let it cool to room temperature or chill briefly in the fridge.
  • Fill a glass with ice cubes so the drink stays cold and dilutes slowly as you drink.
  • Pour the cooled coffee over the ice until the glass is about three-quarters full.
  • Add 1/4 cup milk (or cream) and 2 tablespoons caramel sauce to the coffee.
  • Stir well until the caramel dissolves and the drink looks uniform in color.
  • If desired, top with whipped cream and drizzle a little extra caramel sauce over the top. Serve immediately.

Notes

Cool the coffee fully before adding ice to avoid dilution. Adjust sweetness slowly by tasting as you add caramel. Use larger ice cubes to slow melting and prevent a watery drink.
