  • 1 pound Fresh Mozzarella Balls Opt for bocconcini or ciliegine.
  • 1 bunch Fresh Basil Leaves Look for bright green and aromatic leaves.
  • 1/2 cup Balsamic Glaze Store-bought or homemade by reducing balsamic vinegar.
  • 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil Opt for high-quality, cold-pressed varieties.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper For seasoning.
  • 6 Skewers Wooden or metal, soak wooden skewers to prevent burning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes.

Assembly

  • Thread a cherry tomato onto a skewer, followed by a basil leaf, then a mozzarella ball. Repeat until the skewer is filled, leaving space at the ends.
  • For a colorful presentation, alternate between red and yellow tomatoes.

Finishing Touches

  • Lightly drizzle the assembled skewers with extra virgin olive oil.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.
  • Drizzle balsamic glaze over the skewers just before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Best to drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.
