For the Toppings

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded Pepper jack cheese can be used for extra kick.
  • 1/2 piece red onion, thinly sliced You can substitute with sweet onion or omit.
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped Fresh herbs add a burst of flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for crispy flatbread.
  • In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well-coated.
  • Place the flatbread on a baking sheet laid out flat.
  • Spread the BBQ chicken mixture evenly over the flatbread.
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and sliced red onion over the top.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
  • Slice the flatbread into wedges and serve warm.

Notes

Monitor the baking closely to prevent overcooking. Serve with fresh toppings and experiment with flavors for variations.
