Ingredients
  

For the Base

  • 6 rolls Italian hoagie rolls Can substitute with sub rolls or whole grain options.
  • 4 oz Salami Any type of salami can be used.
  • 4 oz Ham Use your preferred ham.
  • 4 oz Capicola
  • 4 oz Provolone cheese Can use dairy-free cheese options for lactose-free.
  • 4 oz Mozzarella cheese Choose a good melting variety.

For the Topping

  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning Sprinkle generously.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Drizzle inside rolls.
  • 1 cup Pepperoncini Sliced.
  • 1 cup Lettuce Shredded or whole leaves.
  • 1 cup Tomato Sliced.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the Italian hoagie rolls in half lengthwise and drizzle olive oil inside each roll.
  • Sprinkle Italian seasoning generously inside the rolls.
  • Layer the sandwich with salami, ham, capicola, provolone, and mozzarella cheese.
  • Add sliced pepperoncini, followed by fresh lettuce and tomato.

Baking

  • Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes, until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.
  • Allow to cool slightly, then slice into manageable portions and serve warm.

Notes

Pair with marinara sauce for dipping. For best flavor, store ingredients separately until baking.
