  • 4 pieces chicken thighs Bone-in, skin-on recommended for best flavor
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For coating
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste fresh herbs (optional) Such as thyme or rosemary

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  • Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them with the seasoning mixture.

Cooking

  • Place the chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Optional: broil for an additional 3-5 minutes for a crispy skin.
  • Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate in the seasoning for a few hours before baking. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness. You can use different cuts of chicken or add spices for variety.
