Ingredients
  

Pickles and Coating

  • 1 jar Dill pickles (or any type of pickles) Use dry pickles for best results.
  • 1/2 cup Flour For coating.
  • 1/2 cup Cornmeal For added crunch.
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten, for binding.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Plain or panko for extra crunch.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • shallow spray none Cooking spray For spraying before cooking.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the pickles into rounds or spears.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, salt, and pepper.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  • In a third bowl, place breadcrumbs.

Coating

  • Dip each pickle in the flour mixture, then in the eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

Cooking

  • Place the coated pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Spray lightly with cooking spray.
  • Cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden brown.

Serving

  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Pat pickles dry with a paper towel for coating adherence. Use plain breadcrumbs for a light crust or panko for extra crunch. Avoid overcrowding the basket.
